WORKSHOP Dynamic Vinyasa: Study & Application -
next scheduled workshop
“I practise regularly, but this workshop gave me clarity I don’t get in normal classes. The pace stayed strong, but I finally understood what I was meant to be doing inside the movement.”
This workshop continues an ongoing practice of study.
These workshops are for practitioners who enjoy strong, dynamic vinyasa and want to understand their practice more fully.
In regular classes, the pace is purposeful and continuous. There isn’t time to stop, ask questions, or explore individual actions in detail. Here, we create space for that work — without losing the physical intensity of the practice.
We move through structured vinyasa sequences while taking time to study the asana from within the movement: how breath, bandha, drishti, and alignment function together, and how to apply them intelligently and consistently.
Some students come with years of experience and want to refine their understanding. Others have a solid practice but feel unsure about what they should be doing, or how to organise their effort. Both are part of the same process.
Yoga is a never-ending practice of study and learning. These workshops support that process.
This is not an extended class and not a passive workshop.
It is dynamic, instructional practice for people who want to practise with clarity.
What we work with:
• Dynamic vinyāsa sequences
• Breath coordination and internal pacing
• Bandha as functional support
• Dristi and attention
• Alignment choices and intelligent modification
• How to practise with more autonomy and discernment
Best suited for:
Practitioners who are physically comfortable with dynamic vinyasa and want to deepen their understanding, confidence, and direction in practice.
What this supports:
Clearer organisation of effort, more efficient movement, and a steadier relationship to practice — on and off the mat.
Practical notes:
• Dynamic and physically demanding
• Instructional, with time for questions and individual guidance
• Small group setting
• Booking required
Location:
Ground Floor Room, Katherine Low Settlement, 108 Battersea High Street, SW11 3HP.
