About Jenny

No polish. No performance. Just practice.

I began my yoga journey in 1996 with Edward Clark (Tripsichore). Since then, the path has been one of continuous study, disciplined practice, and careful refinement — both off and on the mat. Along the way I’ve practised with and assisted teachers like Stewart Gilchrist (East London School of Yoga), and I hold a 600-hour RYT teaching qualification.

How I Teach

I teach dynamic vinyasa-based yogasana with precision and structure.

Movement is energetic, breath-led, and continuous, but it is never without clear intention.

In every practice I emphasise:

• Breath and internal pacing

• Bandha and functional support

• Dristi and focused attention

• Alignment that makes sense for each body

My classes are taught with clear verbal cues and considered adjustments.

My role as a teacher is not to entertain, but to help students understand how to practise — deeply, intelligently, and steadily.

What This Practice Is

Yoga is not a fitness or wellness trend.

It is not something to look good doing.

It is a lifelong practice of study, discipline, and honest engagement with yourself.

Here, practice means:

  • showing up consistently

  • paying sustained attention

  • working with movement, breath, and intention

  • learning how the body responds and adapts

That’s what I share in classes and workshops — a way of practicing that builds resilience, clarity, and depth over time.

Who I Work With

I work with adults who:

  • practise regularly and want clarity within their movement

  • are serious about understanding their practice

  • value depth over entertainment

  • students who want instruction-led, small group classes

You don’t need to be flexible.

You don’t need to be advanced.

You need curiosity, discipline, and consistency.

Why This Matters

Too many classes prioritise variety over structure, entertainment over depth, pace over presence. That’s fine for some purposes — but not for a practice that changes how you feel, how you move, and how you carry yourself in life.

Yoga — practised with intention, breath, and discipline — is a way of life that continues, not something to be performed.

Interested in Practising Together?

Classes and workshops are listed on the Classes and Workshops pages.

Booking is required, and spaces are kept small so the work can stay honest.
